Your data is stored in AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2), Australia. Data is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) for lawful transfer outside the UK. We plan to add a UK-based region (eu-west-2, London) when our UK customer base justifies the infrastructure investment.
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and audited.
Yes. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We process personal data only to provide the service, support data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability), and maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Care records, timesheets, and audit logs are retained for up to 7 years to meet CQC record-keeping expectations and regulatory audit requirements. Account information is retained for the duration of the account plus 30 days. You can export all your data at any time.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data remains in read-only mode for 30 days so you can export everything. After that, the account is suspended. We retain archived records for up to 7 years where required for regulatory compliance.
