KareShift is available to any Canadian care provider operating in English. The platform is not province-specific — scheduling, GPS clock-in, compliance tracking, and care documentation work the same regardless of province. However, our initial content and compliance labels are focused on Ontario (Passport Program, MLTC). Providers in other provinces can use KareShift; province-specific compliance templates will be added based on demand. Quebec is not yet supported (French-language UI is required and is on our roadmap).

Canadian tax rates vary by province (Ontario 13% HST, Alberta 5% GST, BC 12%, Quebec ~15%, etc.). The correct rate is calculated automatically at checkout based on your province. All displayed prices exclude tax.

All care data is stored in AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2, Australia). Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). International transfer of personal information is permitted under PIPEDA provided appropriate safeguards exist — KareShift's infrastructure meets this requirement through AWS's security controls and our data processing practices. A Canadian data region (AWS ca-central-1, Montreal) is planned for organisations that require Canadian data residency. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
