A bed is one licensed long-term care bed in your home. Your base plan includes up to 30 beds. If your home has more than 30 licensed beds, you pay C$9/bed/month (monthly) or C$7/bed/month (annual) for each additional bed, plus applicable taxes.

All resident and care data for Canadian customers is stored in AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2, Australia). Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). KareShift is built to support your PIPEDA and PHIPA obligations; transferring personal information outside Canada remains your organisation's decision. Note: Ontario LTC homes handling personal health information should assess whether PHIPA's data residency expectations apply to their specific situation — consult your privacy officer.
