Switching FAQ
Yes. Export your workers and participants from your current tool as CSV or Excel and upload the file as it is. For ShiftCare, that's the client and staff lists under Integrations → CSV Import. KareShift matches the columns, and shows you a review screen where you fix any gaps in bulk before anything is saved. You can then bring in NDIS plans with their funding, worker-to-participant assignments, compliance documents with their expiry dates, upcoming shifts, and past shifts and timesheets. Past work is kept as history that is never paid or invoiced again, and can optionally be counted toward plan funding. Any import can be undone within 30 days. We built the ShiftCare client and staff matching from ShiftCare's own documentation; other exports, including shifts and timesheets, are matched as well as possible and you confirm every column. You can also use our Excel templates.
Absolutely. The 90-day trial gives you plenty of time to run both tools side by side before committing. No pressure, no rush.
The import is self-service — upload your export, check the column matching, review, and import. KareShift flags anything missing, lets you fix it for everyone at once, and shows people who are already in KareShift so nothing is duplicated. Correct. Month-to-month billing, cancel anytime. Annual billing saves 20% on the per-worker plans and about 17% on aged care, but you're never locked in — cancel mid-year and keep access until the end of your paid period.
